The Al-Sadd first team secured a resounding 4-0 victory against the Austrian team SVG Reichenau in their first friendly match of the overseas training camp in the Seefeld-Tyrol region of Austria, as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.
Al-Sadd’s goals came from Ahmed Al-Sayed, Moaz Al-Wadia, and substitute Baghdad Bounedjah, who netted a brace.
The starting lineup for Al-Sadd featured Saad Al-Dosari, Abdulrahman Bakri, Abdulrahman Rashid, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Pedro Miguel, Talal Al-Ateeq, Moaz Al-Wadia, Guilherme Torres, Hassan Al-Haydos, Giovani Henrique, and Ahmed Al-Saeed.
During the second half, substitutions were made, with Akram Afif, Yousuf Al-Bloushi, Jihad Mohammed, Yaman Jarar, Anas Abdul Salam, Baghdad Bounedjah, and Ahmed Siyar entering the match.
