Al Sadd delegation set to travel to Barcelona on Monday morning

The Al-Sadd first team delegation will leave for Barcelona at 8 AM on Monday morning, to hold their overseas training camp in preparation for the start of the 2021-22 season. The camp is scheduled to last until the 14th of August.

The 24-member squad for the camp is as follows: Jehad Mohammed, Yousuf Al Baloushi, Karim Dhib, Sani Cazorla, Andre Ayew, Rodrigo Tabata, Guilherme Torres, Baghdad Bounedjah, Jung Woo-young, Ali Asad, Ahmed Sayyar, Hashim Ali, Mustafa Tarek Meshal, Faisal Azadi, Abdullah Ismail, Abdullah Al Yazidi, Abdulrahman Al Dosari, Moaz Elwadia, Talal Atiq, Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, Abdulrahman Rashid, Mahdi Salem, Mohammed Al Quraishi, Mohammed Manai.

The camp will be held in the absence of Al-Sadd’s Qatari internationals, due to their participation in the Concacaf Gold Cup, and also Salem Al-Hajri, who is injured.

Al-Sadd will train in the region of Olot, around 100 kms from Barcelona. This is the second time the team has chosen to train there, after doing so ahead of the 2019-20 season.
