The Al-Sadd first team settled for a goalless draw with Al Bidaa team, in the friendly match that was held on Thursday evening at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, in preparation for the start of the 2022-23 QNB Stars League season.
Al-Sadd started with a lineup consisting of: Jihad Muhammad, Bahaa Al-Laithi, Abdulrahman Bakri, Muhammad Almanai, Santi Cazorla, Rodrigo Tabata, Woo-young, Guilherme Torres, Baghdad Bounedjah, Andre Ayew, Ahmed Al-Saeed.
Head coach Juanma Lillo introduced a different lineup in the second half with Abdullah Ibrahim, Moaz Gad, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Abdulrahman Rashid, Nayef Hamid, Faisal Azadi, Muhammad Salem Al-Quraishi, Abdullah Mahdi, Hassan Ahmed and Moaz Al-Wadia coming on as substitutes.
Al-Sadd will face Al Markhiya in the 2022-23 QNB Stars League Round 1 game, which will be played on Monday, August 1, at Khalifa International Stadium.
