The Al-Sadd first team held their main training session to prepare for the upcoming clash against Uzbekistan’s Nasaf, in the AFC Champions League 2022 group stage fifth round. The match is going to kick off at 8:15 PM on Saturday, 23 April 2022, at the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.
The Wolves go into the game occupying third spot in Group E with a tally of four points, after a 1-1 draw with Nasaf in the first game, followed by 1-2 loss to Al-Faisaly, a 5-2 victory over Al-Wehdat, and then a 1-3 defeat to Al-Wehdat in the fourth round.
On the other hand, Nasaf currently occupy second spot with five points.
Al-Sadd will look to get the win in order to keep their qualification hopes alive in Group E, while awaiting the result of the game between Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehdat.
Meanwhile, Khoukhi Boualem participated in Thursday’s training session after missing the last game against Al-Wehdat due to injury.
