Al-Sadd hold main training session to prepare for Sharjah clash

The Al-Sadd first team held their main training session from 6:00 PM on Saturday, at the main pitch of Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, in preparation for their upcoming match against Sharjah from the United Arab Emirates in the first round of Group B of the 2023-2024 AFC Champions League. This group also includes Nasaf from Uzbekistan and Al-Faisaly from Jordan.

The Wolves enter the match with the aim of securing a winning start to the tournament. The main training session saw strong participation from all the stars of the first team, under the leadership of the Portuguese head coach Bruno Miguel. He focused on selecting the appropriate lineup to face Sharjah and ensured the team worked on special training, especially in the attacking aspects and the movement of the players.

Before the training session began, the coaching staff gathered the players in the center circle to discuss the technical aspects of the upcoming match and urged the players to give their best.

Pedro, the goalkeeping coach for the first team, placed special emphasis on intensive movement training for the three goalkeepers: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshal Barsham, and Jehad Mohammed. This was aimed at increasing their individual and collective awareness, with a particular focus on reaction training.

Meanwhile, the press conference for the Al-Sadd vs. Sharjah match has been scheduled for 5:30 PM on Sunday at the conference hall of Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, with the presence of the head coach and Tarek Salman. The technical coordination meeting will take place at 11:00 AM.
