The Al-Sadd first team will play the first friendly match of its overseas camp in Austria tomorrow evening when they will face the Austrian club SVG Reichenau at 6:00 PM local time, which is 7:00 PM in Doha.
Meanwhile, the first team has continued its training sessions in two periods at its overseas camp in the Seefeld-Tyrol region of Austria, in preparation for the new 2023-2024 season.
The coaching staff, led by the head coach Juanma Lillo, has focused on increasing the training intensity in terms of physical fitness and has paid attention to tactical aspects, particularly in the players’ offensive and defensive movements. They have also worked on executing set-pieces from deep areas and the flanks, as well as how attackers and defenders should deal with them.
The team began its training sessions in the overseas camp on Sunday, the second of July, and the camp will continue until the 19th of the same month.
