Al-Sadd will depart on the morning of Saturday, 11 April 2026, to Jeddah in preparation for their Round of 16 clash against Saudi side Al-Hilal in the AFC Champions League Elite for the 2025–2026 season. The match is scheduled to take place on Monday evening, 13 April, at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium.
The Al-Sadd delegation includes members of the technical and administrative staff, in addition to the following 24 players: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Yousef Al-Balushi, Karim Mohamed, Pedro Miguel, Romain Saïss, Ahmed Suhail, Paulo Otávio, Tarek Salman, Augusto Soria, Mohammed Kamara, Rafa Mujica, Akram Afif, Hashim Ali, Giovani Henrique, Claudinho, Roberto Firmino, Younes Al-Hanash, Ali Asad, Javairô Dilrosun, Boualem Khoukhi, Hassan Al-Haydos, Mohammed Al-Bakri, and Abdullah Al-Yazidi.
The first team resumed training on Friday at the club’s training ground following their 3–1 victory over Al-Sailiya in Round 21 of the Doha Bank Stars League.
