**Al-Sadd Football Team Heads to Tashkent for AFC Champions League Clash**
The Al-Sadd first team delegation will depart from Doha to the Uzbek city of Qarshi, on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
The team is gearing up for a crucial encounter against Uzbek side Nasaf, in their second round clash in Group B of the 2023-2024 AFC Champions League. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 PM Doha time (9:00 PM Uzbekistan time) on Monday, October 2, at the Central Stadium in Tashkent.
The delegation includes 22 players: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Jehad Mohammed, Hassan Al-Haydos, Paulo Otavio, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Matheus Uribe, Baghdad Bounedjah, Akram Afif, Khoukhi Boualem, Ahmed Al-Saeed, Hashim Ali, Amin Hazbavi, Gonzalo Plata, Ali Asad, Musaab Khidir, Moustafa Tarek Meshaal, Yousuf Abdurisag, Ahmed Suhail, Tarek Salman, Mohammed Waad, and Anas Abdulsalam.
The other teams in Group B are Sharjah (UAE) and Al-Faisaly (Jordan). In their opening match, Al-Sadd played out a goalless draw against Sharjah at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha.
