Eng. Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, vice-president of Al-Sadd SC, attended the final training session of the football first team on Tuesday, in preparation for the match against Al-Rayyan in Round 9 of the QNB Stars League.
The vice-president’s visit came as a show of support from the management, towards the coaching staff and players, before the Qatar Clasico clash against Al-Rayyan. The management has been keen to encourage the team to show a strong performance and to achieve good results in the remaining games, in order to compete for the league title this season.
After the training session on Tuesday, head coach Juanma announced the squad for the game against Al-Rayyan, which consists of the following 23 players: Saad Al-Dosari, Yousef Al-Balushi, Pedro Miguel, Ahmed Suhail, Bahaa Al-Laithi, Jung Woo-young, Ahmed Sayyar, Santi Cazorla, Rodrigo Tabata, Baghdad Bounedjah, Andre Ayew, Akram Afif, Muhammad Mannai, Khoukhi Boualam, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Ahmed Al-Saeed, Musaab Khidir, Hassan Al-Haydos, Abdulrahman Rashid, Muhammad Al-Quraishi, Nayef Hamid, Faisal Azadi, and Moaz Al-Wadia.
