Al-Sadd midfielder Ali Asad described his side’s upcoming game against Al-Sailiya as “difficult”, adding that the Wolves are capable of winning all the trophies this season.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Ali said: “The next game will be difficult after Al-Sailiya’s win over Al-Rayyan in their previous game. Al-Sailiya have a strong team and have great players, especially in attack. They deserve a better position based on their performances.”
“Our games against Al-Sailiya are always hard-fought. We hope to give our best and get three points.”
Asked about his return from injury, he said: “I missed more than 10 months, and it was a difficult period for me. But I feel now that I am ready and better than before the injury. I have prepared well and I am ready to make a diference in every game in the upcoming period.”
“Our team has more 2-3 players in every position and this is great, especially for a player to keep improving himself.”
He added: “Thanks to God for the goal I scored against Al-Kharaitiyat in the last game, and I am also thankful that I am getting opportunities to prove myself.”
Ali concluded by saying: “At Al Sadd, we always compete for titles. We promise our fans we will try to win every title and we are capable of doing that with the team that we have. The most important thing is your support for us.”
