Al-Sadd striker Baghdad Bounedjah praised his side’s performance after the 4-0 win over Al-Ain on Matchday 4 of the AFC Champions League.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Bounedjah said: “Congratulations to everyone for the win. We came into the game with a lot of focus and controlled the game completely. We wasted a few chances in the first half, but in the second half, we increased our focus and got the 4-0 win.”
He added: “The next game against Al-Nassr will be tougher and we must prepare well for it.”
“Whether I score doesn’t matter to me, all that I try to do is to help the team. What matters to me is the team, and I promise everyone that I will give all I can in every game.”
