Al-Sadd head coach Bruno Miguel spoke about the difficulty of the upcoming Expo Stars League Round 3 game against Al-Wakrah, which is set to be played on Saturday at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Bruno said: “The next match against Al-Wakrah will be different. They will use new tactics, which will make it a new challenge for us. But we’ve trained well this week, so I hope we’re ready to beat Al-Wakrah.”
He added: “Al-Wakrah lost their last game in the AFC Champions League and then drew in the league, so they’ll want to win against us. But for us, it’s all the same. The result of the previous game doesn’t affect the focus of a team. All games are equally important. I expect Al-Wakrah to be tough, but we’re prepared to win.”
As for the team’s absentees, the coach remarked: “We have some limitations before the game. Some players have small injuries and they won’t be present during this game. But Al-Sadd has a good squad, and we can do well with the players we have. We won’t complain. The players on the field will be ready to play and win.”
