Al Sadd head coach Roberto Mancini confirmed that his side is ready for their upcoming match against Al Shamal in Round 11 of the Doha Bank Stars League, which will be played on Monday evening at Al Shamal Stadium.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the Italian coach said: “This match will be difficult because Al Shamal are a very good team, but for us it is very important to reduce the points gap between us and the team at the top of the table.” ...

Al Sadd secured a 4–2 comeback victory over UAE side Shabab Al Ahli in the AFC Champions League Elite group stage match played on Tuesday, 23 December 2025, at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, as part of Round 6 of the West Zone competition.

With this win, Al Sadd moved up to five points in the table.

Rafa Mujica scored a hat-trick for Al-Sadd after coming on as a substitute (75′, 90+8′ and 90+10′), while Tarek Salman added the other goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time. ...

Al-Sadd head coach Roberto Mancini has confirmed that Al Sadd are ready for their upcoming match against UAE side Shabab Al Ahli, in Round 6 of the AFC Champions League Elite for the 2025–2026 season.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Mancini said: “I expect it to be a strong match, and for us it is a very important game. We have some issues ahead of this game against Shabab Al Ahli. We are missing a number of players due to their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations as well as injuries, but we will be ready for the match in any case.” ...

Al Sadd lost 3–5 to Al Rayyan in the match played on Friday, December 12, at Pitch 5 of Al Gharafa Club, as part of the ninth round of the QSL Cup for the 2025–2026 season.

Al-Sadd achieved its first victory in the 2025–2026 QSL Cup by defeating Al-Kharaitiyat 5–0, in the match that was played at Al-Gharafa Training Pitch 4 on Thursday, December 4, 2025, as part of Round 8 of the competition.
