Al-Sadd player Mohammed Waad successfully underwent knee surgery at Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital on Wednesday, December 11, following a knee injury.

Waad is set to begin his recovery process in the coming days.

Al Sadd Club announces that first-team player Mohammed Waad has sustained a knee injury.

The player is scheduled to undergo surgery at Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital later this week, which will sideline him for four months.

Al Sadd drew 2–2 with Al Ahli in their 2024-2025 Ooredoo Stars League Round 11 match, played at Al Thumama Stadium, on Saturday, 7 December 2024.

With this result, Al Sadd reached 22 points, placing them second in the league standings. Al Sadd’s goals were scored by Akram Afif in the 13th and 59th minutes, while Al Ahli’s goals were scored by Julian Draxler in the 45+4th and 52nd minutes. ...

With this win, Al Sadd raised their points tally to 12, securing their spot in the knockout stage of the tournament. The goals for Al Sadd were scored by Akram Afif in the 53rd minute, and Adam Ounas in the 90+6th minute via a penalty.
