Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez remarked that his side is ready to face Al-Duhail in their upcoming QNB Stars League game, despite the difficulty of the fixture. The rescheduled game from Round 3 is set to be played at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Wednesday.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Xavi said: “Of course, it is always complicated to play against Al-Duhail. It will be very difficult because the players feel more tension that in other games . But we are ready, we are in a good moment, even though we lost two points against Al-Khor in the last game.” ... 

The Qatar Football Association has announced the list of match officials for the upcoming 2020-21 QNB Stars League game between Al-Sadd and Al-Duhail. The rescheduled game from Round 3 will be played at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Wednesday.

The Al-Sadd first team went through their main training session on Monday evening at the club’s training facility, in preparation for the upcoming game against Al Duhail. The match, which was postponed from the third round of the QNB Stars League, will kick off at 6:45 PM on Wednesday at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium. ... 

The Al-Sadd U-23 team drew 0-0 with Al-Uwaynah in a friendly game played at the club’s secondary pitch on Sunday.

The game was organised as part of the preparations for the start of the 2020-21 Qatargas U-23 League, with Al-Sadd scheduled to play Al-Duhail in their opening game on October 22.

David Prats, coach of the Al-Sadd U-23 team, and his staff focused on trying out several players during the game. ... 

The Al-Sadd first team players participated in a training session on Sunday evening, as they began their preparations for the postponed QNB Stars League Round 3 game against Al-Duhail, which will be played on Wednesday at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

The Wolves had earlier drawn 0-0 with Al-Khor in their Round 4 game on Saturday. The players who had appeared in the game underwent recovery training during Sunday’s session, which included warmup drills and some exercises with the ball. ... 

Al-Sadd were held to a 0-0 draw by Al-Khor, in the QNB Stars League Round 4 game which was played at Al-Khor Stadium on Saturday.

The result means that Al-Sadd increase their points tally to 7 and remain in second place in the league table, with a game in hand. The Wolves will play Al-Duhail next in the postponed Round 3 game on October 21. ... 

The Al-Sadd first team concluded preparations for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 4 clash with Al-Khor, with a final training session on Friday evening. The game is set to kick off at 7:45 PM on Saturday at Al-Khor Stadium.

The Wolves go into the Round 4 clash occupying second place in the league table with 6 points from 2 games, with the postponed Round 3 game against Al-Duhail scheduled to be played on October 21. As for the opponents Al-Khor, they are ranked 10th in the table with 2 points from 3 games. ... 

Al-Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham said that the team is expecting a difficult game when they face Al-Khor in Round 4 of the QNB Stars League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Meshaal said: “We expect a difficult game against Al-Khor, who are stubborn opponents, but our goal is to win and get the three points.” ...
