Pedro Miguel: Happy to play in the Champions League, we are ready to face Foolad

Al-Sadd defender Pedro Miguel addressed the media on Tuesday, speaking of his side’s readiness for the upcoming game against Iranian side Foolad in the opening round of the AFC Champions League 2021 group stage.

AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd squad reaches Riyadh and enters bio-bubble

The Al-Sadd first team delegation arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening and entered a specialised bio-bubble in the Burj Al Rafal hotel, ahead of their participation in the AFC Champions League 2021 group stage, which is to be played from 14-29 April.

The Wolves have been placed in Group D of the competition, alongside Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia), Al-Wehdat (Jordan) and Foolad (Iran). ... 

Al Sadd delegation set to depart for Riyadh

The Al Sadd first team squad will depart for Riyadh on Sunday, 11th April, ahead of their participation in the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2021.

The Wolves will play in the Group D, which includes Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia), Al-Wehdat (Jordan), and Foolad (Iran).

The Al-Sadd delegation includes members of the technical and administrative staff as well as 24 players, and is headed by Turki Al-Ali, the club’s general manager. ... 

Xavi: It was a great performance against Qatar SC, delighted to finish the season undefeated

Al-Sadd coach Xavi Hernandez praised his side’s performance during the match against Qatar SC in the 22nd and final week of the QNB Stars League, which saw the Wolves win 3-0 and end the season with an undefeated record.

Speaking to the club’s website after the match, Xavi said: “Today’s performance against Qatar SC was more than excellent, from all the players. I’m happy with the result, the win, and not losing throughout the league season.” ... 

Al-Sadd end season undefeated after 3-0 win over Qatar SC

Al-Sadd ended the 2020-21 QNB Stars League campaign without a defeat, after a 3-0 win over Qatar SC in the Round 22 game which was played at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Friday.

With this victory, Al-Sadd ended the season with a tally of 60 points, from 19 wins, 3 draws and no defeats. Khaled Mahmoudi’s own goal put Al-Sadd ahead in the 3rd minute, before Rodrigo Tabata doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 38th minute. Yousuf Abdurisag then completed the scoring in the 76th minute. ... 

Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Qatar SC clash, Guilherme ruled out due to suspension

The Al-Sadd first team concluded their preparations for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 22 against Qatar SC, with a final training session on Thursday evening. The game is set to be played on Friday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

Hussam Kamal: A win over Qatar SC will be a huge boost for us ahead of the Asian campaign

Al-Sadd defender Hussam Kamal said that a win over Qatar SC in the upcoming QNB Stars League game will help his side ahead of the Asian campaign.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Hussam said: “It’s the final game of the league for us, against Qatar SC, and we want to end the season without any defeats. Getting a win will be a huge boost for us, and will give us an advantage going into the upcoming games (in Asia).” ...
