Al-Sadd came from behind to defeat Umm Salal 3-1 in their QNB Stars League Round 7 clash, which was played on Tuesday at Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium.

Umm Salal opened the scoring through Yaseen Al Bakheet in the 6th minute, before Akram Afif equalised in the 13th minute. Santi Cazorla put Al-Sadd in front at the half hour mark, and Andre Ayew made it 3-1 at the beginning of the second half. The result meant that the Wolves remained on top of the league table with a tally of 21 points from 7 games. ... 

Al Sadd Club concluded their preparations for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 7 game against Umm Salal, with a final training session on Monday evening at the club’s training facility. The game is set to kick off at 5:20 PM on Tuesday, at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium in Al Wakrah.

Al-Sadd opened their 2021-22 QNB Stars League campaign with a 2-0 win over Al-Sailiya in the Round 1 game which was played at Thani bin Jassim Stadium on Sunday.

Goals from Khoukhi Boualem and Rodrigo Tabata in the first half delivered the three points for the Wolves. The result means Al-Sadd are third in the league table after the end of the first round, tied on points with Al-Duhail and Al-Gharafa, but behind on goal difference. ... 

Al-Sadd president His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, attended the first team’s training session on Thursday, which was held at Al Thumama World Cup Stadium, in preparation for the 2021 Amir Cup final against Al Rayyan. Al-Sadd captain Hassan Al Haydos stressed his team’s readiness and desire to win, ahead of the 2021 Amir Cup final clash with Al-Rayyan.
