Al-Sadd defeat Al-Qadsia of Kuwait in friendly game

Al-Sadd’s first team recorded a 6–1 victory over Kuwait’s Al-Qadsia in a friendly match held on Monday at the team’s training ground.

Giovanni Henrique netted a hat-trick for Al-Sadd, while Ahmed Suhail, Paulo Otávio, and Hashim Ali scored a goal apiece.

The team started with a lineup consisting of Yousef Al-Baloushi as goalkeeper; Romain Saïss, Abdesamad Bounasser, Paulo Otávio, and Youcef Atal in defense; Ali Asad, Guilherme Torres, and Cristo Gonazalez in midfield; and Hassan Al-Haydos, Hashim Ali, and Giovanni Henrique in attack. Mohamed Camara, Ahmed Suhail, and Ahmed Sayyar came on as substitutes in the second half. ... 

Al-Sadd resume training after break

Al-Sadd’s first football team resumed training today, Thursday, following the rest period granted to the players after their match against Al-Ahli, in Week 11 of the Ooredoo Stars League.

The team is preparing for the start of the second phase of the league competition, set to commence after the conclusion of the Gulf Cup, which will be held in Kuwait from December 21, 2024 until January 3, 2025. ...

Al Sadd drew 2–2 with Al Ahli in their 2024-2025 Ooredoo Stars League Round 11 match, played at Al Thumama Stadium, on Saturday, 7 December 2024.

Al Sadd secured a 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr in the sixth round of the AFC Champions League Elite (West Zone) on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh.

With this win, Al Sadd raised their points tally to 12, securing their spot in the knockout stage of the tournament. The goals for Al Sadd were scored by Akram Afif in the 53rd minute, and Adam Ounas in the 90+6th minute via a penalty. Al Nassr’s lone goal came from an own goal by Al Sadd defender Romain Saïss in the 80th minute. ...
