Al-Sadd head coach Wesam Rizk expressed his delight at his team’s triumph in the prestigious Amir Cup, following their victory over Qatar SC in the final match held at the Education City Stadium.

In his post-match statements, Wesam said, “The players of Al-Sadd played an excellent match and performed at a high level, and I am proud of that. It was a unique and exceptional final in every detail. Al-Sadd captain Hassan Al-Haydos affirmed his team’s readiness to face Qatar SC in the final of the 2024 Amir Cup.

During the press conference, Al-Haydos stated, “We are delighted to reach the final and to have the honour of meeting His Highness the Amir. Our preparations for the match are as strong as for any significant final. We will enter the match with determination and resolve to win the cup.” ...

Bounedjah stated in his post-match remarks, “Thanks to God, we succeeded in achieving victory and booking our ticket to the final of the 52nd edition of the Amir Cup. The team delivered a great performance against Al-Duhail, and we managed to maintain our lead until the end of the match.” ... 

Al-Sadd sporting director Mohamed Gholam Al-Balushi expressed his delight at the victory over Al-Duhail which secured a spot in the final of the Amir Cup.

Al-Sadd secured their spot in the final of the 2024 Amir Cup after defeating Al-Duhail 1-0 in their semi-final clash held today, Saturday, at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. Akram Afif scored the sole goal for Al-Sadd in the 46th minute.
