Al-Sadd’s young forward Hashim Ali spoke of his team’s desire to win their upcoming game against Umm Salal in Round 7 of the QNB Stars League.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Hashim said: “As you know , we are the only unbeaten team in the league. We just drew one game. The only thing we are looking for is to win, nothing else. Just win.”
Asked about his recent form, Hashim said: “I’m really happy with my performance right now. I played against Al Ahli, scored two goals and got one assist. I also played some games in the Ooredoo Cup.”
“For me, I am happy to be here, training with the best players in Qatar and Asia, it ‘s a very good team.”
He added: “If the coach gives me the chance, I play. I know it’s better for me if I play every game but after all, it is the coach’s decision and I am happy with it.”
