The Al Sadd first team players continued their daily training on the club’s training pitches, as part of the preparations for the 2022 AFC Champions League.
The coaching staff are looking to increase the players’ level of readiness ahead of the start of the continental campaign on the 8th of April. Al-Sadd will play Jordan’s Al-Wehdat, Saudi side Al-Faisaly and Nasaf of Uzbekistan in Group E, with all the games being held in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Al-Sadd’s training session on Tuesday saw the participation of captain Hassan Al-Haydos, after he recovered from the injury he sustained following the game against Al-Duhail in the second phase of the QNB Stars League.
In the past few weeks, Al-Haydos underwent a period of treatment and rehabilitation under the supervision of the medical staff of the national team, in order to recover and regain full fitness, before returning to Al-Sadd for training to prepare for the upcoming AFC Champions League.
