Al-Sadd head coach Javi Gracia spoke of his happiness after his side’s big 6-0 win over Al-Wakrah, in the rescheduled match from Round 11 of the QNB Stars League.
In his statement to the club’s website after the match, Gracia said: “We played against a team that is at its best form at the moment, and we managed to score six goals against a team that had the best defense before the match, which is a great motivation for us.”
The coach added: “I am happy with the players and what they did. We did not allow the opponents to threaten our goal, and we could have scored more goals. We played very hard and deserved to win.”
The Spaniard continued: “We are living our best moments and we must continue to work hard in training to maintain the form that the team has reached in order to continue at the top of the league.”
