Al-Sadd coach Javi Gracia expressed his satisfaction with the team’s 4-2 victory over Al-Khor in Round 21 of the QNB Stars League.
In his statement after the match, Gracia said to the club’s website: “We played a good match and got an exciting victory despite Pedro being sent off. Our problem today was the red card and we must pay attention to such matters.
He continued: “We always start with our best 11 players, and changes take place during the match. Some players, such as Akram, Santi and Ali Asad, would have played fewer minutes had it not been for the sending off.”
About the leader’s preparations for the next match against Al-Ahli n the Amir Cup, the Al-Sadd coach said: “There is no time to prepare for the Al-Ahli match, but we will stick to the schedule prepared for that. In this period we will play more matches than other teams and we must prepare ourselves for this situation in order to achieve all our goals.”
