Al-Sadd head coach Juanma addressed the media and spoke of the difficulty of facing Al-Wakrah in the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 7 clash.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Juanma said: “It seems to me to be that Al-Wakrah is a team that has earned a reputation within the country for its way of playing, with good organisation and has a way of approaching matches or a very clear attacking intention.”
“They seem to me to be a very complicated and very good team.”
Asked about recent results not going Al-Sadd’s way, the coach said: “Well, unfortunately, it’s becoming a constant for us. We all know that in football, merits go one way and results go the other. With Al-Sadd, it has been very evident and also in the last game, when we played very good for most of the time.”
As for the return of Rodrigo Tabata following his two-game suspension, Juanma said: “Tabata had earned prestige and respect in this country without the need for me to certify that. It really is a pity for us not to have had him practically for three games and not just two games, because in the game against Al-Gharafa in which he was sent off he only played for a short time.”
