Al-Sadd coach Juanma Lillo spoke about the difficulty of the upcoming clash with Qatar SC, a postponed game from Round 8 of the QNB Stars League.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Juanma said: “We know it’s a team that’s at the top of the table because of its merits and that it has a very, very professional way of playing, and some players that are very significant. So it’s going to be a difficult game.”
As for the defeat to Al-Ahli in the previous game, the coach said: “The last game will not have an effect; it is history. It was a unique game. Almost 53 minutes of that games, we weren’t playing – that is very little playing time. We created many chances but we could not score.”
He added: “Since the competition resumed after the break, we have won all our games. However, we understand that becoming champions is not solely in our control. After the recent defeat, the difficulty has increased logically, but we remain determined to win all the remaining games.”
