Al-Sadd head coach Juanma Lillo spoke about the upcoming game against Umm Salal in the QNB Stars League, stressing on the difficulty of the clash.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Juanma said: “Obviously this match requires special consideration, given that Umm Salal has a new coach who arrived a few days ago. It will give the match a special character.”
He added: “The fact that they have changed coaches means that we will not have enough information about their team. Also, a new coach coming in may give the players a motivation to show what they can do, and this makes the game even more uncertain.”
“Right now we are trying to observe each game as a way to grow as a team to try to get the three points without stopping to think about what will be the next steps.”
The coach concluded by saying: “We know the difficulty of every match we play. I hope that we will be better than we were in the last game against Al-Markhiya, and that we will not miss opportunities. We must be stronger and more focused in front of the opponent’s goal.”
