Al-Sadd head coach Juanma spoke about the importance of his side’s 3-2 win over Al-Ahli, in the third round of the QNB Stars League.
In his statement to the club’s website after the match, Juanma said: “We needed this victory the most, and at this time, an important first victory for us. We deserved it in the first two games, but we couldn’t achieve it.”
The Al Sadd coach added: “Today we played hard and were the best. We scored, and created many chances and made mistakes as well, but we won deservedly. The three points were deserved by our players, who all performed well today.”
He concluded by saying: “We will continue to work for the next match with all our strength, and will not stop. We have great confidence in all the players, especially the young people who are improving from one game to another and helping the team a lot.”
