Al-Sadd head coach Juanma Lillo spoke of the difficulty of the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 4 game against Al-Gharafa, which is set to be played on Tuesday at the Education City Stadium.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Juanma said: “All the teams are difficult to play against, and so is Al Gharafa, who have great players. We came to know they signed two new foreign players. We don’t know if they are going to play but they have a good track record.”
Asked about his side’s recent performances, the coach replied: “The truth is that there is nothing to blame the team for. The team is going to do better than what we have done so far. A victory in the next game will help, for sure.”
He added: “As I said in previous interviews, in all of the previous games, we had possession of the ball. Yet we have not achieved anything because we did not have total control of the match. If we had the control we could have won all three matches.”
Juanma also expressed his hope that the team will do what it takes to win the next game, while adding that “the last win against Al-Ahli was a boost for the team.”
