Al-Sadd defender Khoukhi Boualem saluted the team’s fans after the successful defence of the QNB Stars League title.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of the Round 20 fixture against Al-Duhail, Khoukhi said: “The fans of Al-Sadd deserve this title after a tiring season. I want to congratulate the players and coaching staff as well, for winning the title with three rounds to go.”
The Qatari international also remarked: “The match against Al-Duhail match will be a strong and exciting one, as was the case with our matches against them in previous years.
Khoukhi concluded by saying: “Our goal is to finish the league without a loss. We are awaiting Al-Sadd’s fans at our stadium on Friday to celebrate with the league title, and we will give our best to perform well during the match.”
