Mohammed Waad ruled out for up to 6 weeks with eye injury

Al-Sadd player Mohammed Waad has been ruled out for 4-6 weeks with a severe eye injury, which he sustained during the game against Al Gharafa in Round 14 of the QNB Stars League on February 15th.

Medical examinations revealed that he had suffered a severe bruise and would need 4-6 weeks to recover before returning to participate in group training. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, the Al-Sadd first team held its main training session on Saturday in preparation for their upcoming match against Al-Ahli on February 21st, which will be played at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium.
