Al Sadd player Mohammed Waad expressed his happiness after his team’s 5–1 victory over Al Rayyan in the top clash of the ninth round of the Doha Bank Stars League.
In his post-match comments, he said: “We thank the club’s management for standing by the team during the losses and poor results, and we thank our fans for their continuous support. We weren’t at our best at the start of the season, but we came back and delivered in the Clasico. We dedicate this victory to the management and the fans, and we promise them even better in what’s to come.”
He added: “We now have an important match in the AFC Champions League Elite, and we will work hard to win it, continue our good results, and come back stronger.”
