Al-Sadd first team player Moustafa Tarek Meshaal stressed the importance of the upcoming game against Muaither in the Round of 16 of the Amir Cup 2022.
Speaking during the press conference, Moustafa said: “The Muaither match will be difficult because Amir Cup matches are completely different compared to the league. We will play the match with great focus throughout the 90 minutes.”
He added: “We are trying to retain the title this year, and as everyone saw Al-Sadd is showing great performances in the league, and now we have to focus on the Amir Cup.”
Moustafa concluded by saying: “I thank the coach for the opportunity to participate with the first team, and my ambition, like all the young players who started in the age group categories, is to reach the first team, to contribute and to remain in the team. God willing, we will continue at the same level.”
