Al-Sadd’s Paulo Otavio said his side had played an intense game against Al-Gharafa, after the two sides fought out a 2-2 draw in their Expo Stars League Round 16 clash.
In his post-match comments to the media, Paulo said: “It was a tough match against a strong team. We were aiming for the win, to extend our lead at the top but we were not able to achieve that.”
He added: “It’s a draw and we need to turn the page on this game now. We are now focusing on the next game against Al-Arabi, which will also be a tough challenge against a top team.”
