Al-Sadd’s coach, Wesam Rizk, discussed the significance of the upcoming match against Al-Arabi in the seventeenth round of the 2023-2024 Expo Stars League.
During the press conference, Wesam stated: “We have an important match in the Qatar Derby between Al-Sadd and Al-Arabi. There is always significant competition between the two teams in all tournaments, and it is a major and exciting derby for the fans.”
Wesam continued: “The match against Al-Gharafa is in the past. We are striving with all our strength to correct the mistakes that occurred, and therefore, we will be ready to face Al-Arabi.”
The coach pointed out that he expects a strong reaction from the players after the recent draw with Al-Gharafa, adding: “The upcoming match is a new challenge for us, and I expect a strong reaction from the players, especially since we are at the top, and this is a great motivation for us to continue the journey with full force.”
Wesam concluded his statement: “The club’s management supports the players strongly, as well as the fans who are always present in every match. Therefore, we will be fully prepared to give our best to achieve victory and earn the three points.”
