Al-Sadd’s Pedro Miguel spoke about the importance of the upcoming game against Al-Arabi in Round 11 of the QNB Stars League.
Addressing the media at the pre-match press conference, Pedro said: “The next game against Al-Arabi will be difficult because they are going through a good period. They have a good team with great local and foreign players.”
He added: “But our team is also ready, and some more players are back now to help us. We worked very hard this week to give a good performance in this game and to get the three points.”
“We need these three points. Everybody knows this is a very difficult game but we are ready.”
Pedro went on to stress: “We will go there aiming for three points, in order to continue to compete for the league title.”
Speaking about missing several players early in the season, he said: “We know the beginning of the league was difficult as we had many absentees. Things were difficult for our team but thanks to God, the national team players are back now.”
“Also, the players who were at the Gulf Cup are ready to play against Al-Arabi. Everyone is ready to help the team until the end of the season because we want to win the league title.”
“So now everybody is back and we are stronger than ever. We just have to fight in every game and fight until the end.”
Pedro concluded with a message for the fans, saying: “We are starting again against Al-Arabi and it’s very important that we play with the support of our fans. When we are all together, we are stronger.”
