Al-Sadd racked up a huge 6-1 victory over Al-Kharaitiyat in the Qatargas U23 League Round 18 game which was played on Friday at Al-Sailiya Sports Club.
The result sees Al-Sadd maintain their lead at the top of the league table, with a tally of 48 points. Khaled Al-Riyami (25′), and Hassan Ahmed (29′) scored within minutes of each other to make it 2-0 to the Wolves at the half hour mark. Al-Kharaitiyat defender Al Tayeb Kamal then scored into his own net in the 33rd minute, before Saoud Al-Nasr struck in the 45th minute to ensure a 4-0 lead at halftime.
Al-Kharaitiyat’s Rashid Hassan also scored an own goal in the 47th minute, before Khaled Al-Riyami made it 6-0 in the 51st minute. Masoud Mohammed reduced the deficit for Al-Kharaitiyat in the 60th minute.
Al-Sadd began the game with the following lineup: Jehad Mohammed, Talal Bahzad, Abdulrahman Masoud, Abdullah Al-Ali, Faisal Azadi, Mustafa Tarek Meshaal, Khaled Al-Riyami, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Hassan Ahmed, Saoud Al-Nasr, Mohammed Al-Mannai.
Karim Haider, Mohammed Mansour, Mouaz Abdullah, Fahad Hamad and Rami Suhail came on as substitutes in the second half.
