QNB Stars League: Al-Sadd lose 1-2 to Al-Gharafa

Al-Sadd lost 2-1 to Al-Gharafa, in the 2022-23 QNB Stars League Round 4 game that was played on Tuesday at the Education City Stadium.

With this result, Al-Sadd suffered their second loss of the season. The team now have four points from four games, with a win, a draw and two losses.

Al-Gharafa took the lead through Ishak Belfodil’s goal in the 38th minute, and then doubled their advantage in the 55th minute, with a strike from Yacine Brahimi. Guilherme Torres scored Al-Sadd’s only goal in the 72nd minute. Al-Sadd played over an hour with only ten men, after Rodrigo Tabata was sent off in the 29th minute.
