Al-Sadd coach Razvan Lucescu has confirmed that his players are ready for their upcoming match against Al-Shahania in Week 7 of the Doha Bank Stars League.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Lucescu stressed the importance of the encounter, saying: “The game against Al Shahania is certainly one of the most difficult we will face during this part of the season. There is only one way to approach it: we must fight hard to take the three points.”
He added: “In our current situation, we need this victory to put an end to this difficult period and get back to winning ways. A win would certainly restore our optimism and enthusiasm. This is football, and these ups and downs are part of a league season. We must bounce back with a victory and get back on the path to success.”
Meanwhile, Al-Sadd player Moaz Al-Wadia acknowledged the difficulty of the encounter, noting that league matches are always competitive and challenging. He stressed that the team’s objective is to beat Al-Shahania and collect all three points.
“Our objective is to beat Al-Shahania. We are looking to continue working hard and deliver our best. We also hope to have the support of the Wolves’ fans in the coming matches, as their presence and backing are very important to the team,” Al-Wadia added.
