Al-Sadd head coach Roberto Mancini confirmed that his side is fully prepared for their upcoming match against Qatar in Round 12 of the Doha Bank Stars League for the 2025–2026 season.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, the Al Sadd coach said:
“The next match is very important for us, because we need to continue on our path and collect many points in order to close the gap with the team in first place. We know it will be a difficult match, as Qatar are a good team.”
The Italian coach added:
“In the second phase of the championship, we need to collect a large number of points. For this reason, we have to win many games. I don’t know if we need to win all of them; we know it will be difficult, but we want to try.”
On the other hand, Spanish midfielder Pau Prim stressed the importance of the upcoming clash against Qatar in Round 12.
The Al Sadd player said:
“The next match will be very difficult, like all league matches. We hope to enter the game with great desire and be able to secure the three points. We are going through a good technical phase and must continue in this way.”
He concluded:
“It’s true that we are in a very good period and have achieved consecutive victories. We want to continue on this path, and we will fight to reach first place and win the league title.”
