The Al-Sadd Sports Club management extends its gratitude to the Portuguese coach Bruno Miguel for the period he spent as the coach of the first team at Al-Sadd. The club wishes him success in his professional life.

Al-Sadd’s Algerian forward Baghdad Bounedjah expressed his sorrow following the team’s 2-0 defeat against Al-Faisaly of Jordan in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League group stage.

In his post-match statements, Bounedjah said, “The team wasn’t at its best, and we didn’t deliver the required performance during the match, unlike Al-Faisaly, who succeeded in capitalizing on the opportunities and scoring the two winning goals.” ... 

Al-Sadd suffered a 2-0 defeat against Al-Faisaly of Jordan in the fourth round of the group stage of the 2023-2024 AFC Champions League. The match took place at the Amman International Stadium on Monday evening.

With this loss, Al-Sadd’s tally remained at four points, keeping them in the third position in Group B. Al-Faisaly’s Hatem Al-Rushadi scored in the 57th minute, and Aref Al-Haj added another goal in the 85th minute. ... 

Al-Sadd captain Hassan Al-Haydos described the upcoming match against Jordan’s Al-Faisaly in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League as strong and challenging.

During the press conference, Al-Haydos said, “The match will be tough for both teams, and the result of the first match does not reflect the strength and form of the Al-Faisaly team.” ... 

Al-Sadd head coach Bruno Miguel affirmed the readiness of his side for the upcoming Group B fourth-round clash in the AFC Champions League against Jordan’s Al-Faisaly.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Bruno said, “We tried to quickly recover the players’ fitness after the last match against Al-Markhiya. The first-leg match against Al-Faisaly was good for us, and the second-leg match will be entirely different. Al-Faisaly has a new coach and has got more than one win in the local league.” ... 

The match coordination meeting for the AFC Champions League clash between Al-Sadd and Jordan’s Al-Faisaly took place at the Regency Hotel in the Jordanian capital, Amman on Sunday. The group stage fourth round match is scheduled to be played on Monday.

During the meeting, it was agreed that Al-Sadd would wear their all-black kit, while Al-Faisaly would be in blue shirts and shorts. ... 

The Al-Sadd first team delegation arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, at 7:00 PM today, Saturday, in preparation for the AFC Champions League match against Al-Faisaly. The group stage fourth round fixture is set to be played on Monday, November 6th, at the Amman International Stadium.

The Al-Sadd delegation received a warm welcome from the officials of the Jordanian team. Al-Sadd’s delegation includes members of the coaching and administrative staff, along with 24 players, and is led by Mohammed Ghulam Al Balushi, the sporting director of the club. ... 

Al-Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham expressed his delight with his side’s 5-0 victory over Al-Markhiya, in Round 8 of the Expo Stars League.

In his post-match statements, Meshaal said: “We achieved what was required, which is the win and three points, and we came out with a clean sheet. We also succeeded in maintaining our lead in the league.” ... 

Al-Sadd maintained their pole position in the Expo Stars League with an emphatic 5-0 win against Al-Markhiya at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Thursday.

The star of the show was Akram Afif, securing a super hat-trick in the 16th, 20th, 42nd, and 45+3rd minutes. Additionally, Baghdad Bounedjah added to the tally in the 12th minute. This commanding victory solidifies Al-Sadd’s place at the top of the league with an impressive 19 points. ... 

Al-Sadd’s Moustafa Tarek confirmed the readiness of his team to face Al-Markhiya in their upcoming Expo Stars League Round 8 match.

Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Moustafa said: “We are currently at the top of the league, and we seek to continue the series of wins that the team has achieved in the recent period to stay at the summit.” ...
