Al-Sadd coach Felix Sanchez spoke about the importance of the upcoming game against Al-Shahania in the fourth round of the Doha Bank Stars League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Sanchez said: “We have just come back from the international break, and of course it’s always a bit different when the players return. For some of them, today is the first day back with the team, so we need to see how they are physically, check their condition, and prepare for the game.” ... 

Al-Sadd star Akram Afif stressed the importance of the 2-0 victory achieved by Al-Sadd against Al-Gharafa in the third round of the Doha Bank Stars League for the 2025-2026 season.

With this victory, Al-Sadd moved up to six points. The two goals for the Wolves were scored by Youcef Atal in the 4th minute and Roberto Firmino in the 51st minute. ...

Akram Afif scored for Al Sadd from the penalty spot in the 56th minute, while Hamza Al-Wasati netted the equaliser for Wydad in the 67th minute.
