Al-Sadd to play in white, Al-Shorta in green

Al-Sadd’s team will wear their white home jersey during the match against Iraq’s Al-Shorta in the quarter-finals of the King Salman Club Cup, while Al-Shorta will play in green.

This was decided during the technical meeting held at the meeting hall in Youth Club at the Sports City in Abha, in the presence of Al-Sadd team manager Abdullah Al-Bureik, and first team officer Abdulaziz Al-Jaiedy, in addition to officials from the Al-Shorta team, and representatives from the organising committee. ...

Al-Sadd secured a 1-0 victory against Libya’s Ahli Tripoli in their King Salman Club Cup Group B third-round match, which took place on Wednesday at the Damac Club Stadium in Abha.

The sole goal of the match came from Brazilian Paulo Otavio in the 89th minute.

With this win, Al-Sadd qualified for the quarter-finals, leading Group B with 7 points, after two wins against Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal and Libya’s Ahli Tripoli, and a draw against Morocco’s Wydad. ...
