Al-Sadd player Rodrigo Tabata spoke of the importance of the upcoming game against Al-Ahli, in the Amir Cup quarter-final, which will be played on Saturday evening at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference: “We have a short time to prepare for the next match. We have a tight schedule, but we as players are excited to continue the journey and win.”
He continued: “The Amir Cup is an important tournament for us. We won the title in the last two years, and we will try to keep it at Al-Sadd.”
Tabata pointed out that Al-Ahli is a very good team and that it will be difficult to face, adding: “The next match will be different from the last game against them in the league. We won the game 8-2, but the cup clash will be very different. We will play with all our strength to win and reach the the semi-finals.”
As for the secret of Tabata continuing to play with the same strength, he said: “I try to work well every day and help my team in training and in matches. Football is my first passion and my family is my biggest supporter, and I always strive to do everything I have for football.”
