H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa attends Al-Sadd training session

Al-Sadd president His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani attended the first team’s training session on Friday, as they prepared for the upcoming Amir Cup quarterfinal clash against Al-Ahli.

High spirits prevailed during Friday’s session, as the players trained in the presence of the club president, who observed the activities and enquired keenly about the players’ condition and readiness.

The coaching staff, led by head coach Javi Gracia, worked with the squad on physical and technical training, before organising a practice mini-game.

At the end of the training session, the coach announced the squad for the Al-Ahli clash, which consists of the following 23 players: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Youssef Al-Balushi, Jung Woo-young, Pedro Miguel, Mohammed Waad, Khoukhi Boualem, Rodrigo Tabata, Faisal Azadi, Akram Afif, Ahmed Sayyar, Yousuf Abdurisag, Musaab Khidir, Abdelkarim Hassan, Santi Cazorla, Ali Asad, Guilherme Torres, Andre Ayew, Abdulrahman Rashid, Mustafa Tarek, Abdullah Al Yazidi, Muhammad Almanai, Tarek Salman

The squad announcement for the Amir Cup quarter-final witnessed the return of Tarek Salman after he missed the last game against Al-Khor in the league, due to accumulation of cards.
