AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd lose to Al-Faisaly

Al-Sadd lost 1-2 to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Faisaly in their second Group E game in the 2022 AFC Champions League, which was played on Monday at the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

Hassan Al-Haydos gave the Wolves the lead in the fourth minute, but Al-Faisaly equalised in the 16th minute through Hicham Faik. In the 53rd minute, Julio Tavares scored the winner for Al-Faisaly.

The result leaves Al-Sadd with a tally of one point, after two games, in Group E. Javi Gracia’s side will play Al-Wehdat of Jordan next, on Matchday 3 of the group stage, on April 15.
