Al-Sadd coach Javi Gracia expressed his disappointment after his side lost 2-1 against Saudi side Al-Faisaly in the second round of the AFC Champions League group stage.
In his statement to the media after the match, Gracia said: “We worked hard during the match, we started well and went ahead with the first goal. After that Al-Faisaly equalised, and then we committee many mistakes which contributed to them taking the the lead with the second goal.”
The coach added: “We did not take advantage of the opportunities we created. Our goal was to win, but we failed in achieving that.”
