Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Kharaitiyat clash, Tarek ruled out for 4 weeks

Al-Sadd defender Tarek Salman has been ruled out of the upcoming game against Al-Kharaitiyat, after sustaining an injury in the previous clash against Qatar SC earlier this week.

Medical examinations revealed the extent of the knee ligament injury, which will require Tarek to undergo 3 to 4 weeks of recuperation before he can return to training.

Meanwhile, the Al-Sadd first team concluded their preparations for the QNB Stars League Round 12 game against Al-Kharaitiyat with their final training session which was held on Friday evening at the club’s secondary pitch. The match is set to kick off at 4:15 PM on Saturday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

After the end of the session, Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez announced the 22-member matchday squad which is as follows: Meshaal Barsham, Saad Al-Dosari, Jehad Mohammed, Jung Woo-young, Hassan Al-Haydos, Muhammad Waad, Salem Al-Hajri, Ali Asad, Baghdad Bounedjah, Guilherme Torres, Rodrigo Tabata, Santi Cazorla, Abdelkarim Hassan, Yousuf Abdurisag, Hashim Ali, Musaab Khidir, Nam Tae-hee, Ahmed Suhail, Talal Behzad, Mustafa Tarek Mishaal, Abdullah Badr, Faisal Azadi

The squad later departed for a closed camp at Al Messila Hotel, from where they will travel to the stadium for the game tomorrow.
