Al-Sadd score seven against Al-Shamal to go top of the league

Al-Sadd registered a huge 7-2 win over Al-Shamal in the QNB Stars League Round 4 game which was played at Khalifa International Stadium on Sunday.

Ali Asad opened the scoring in the 10th minute, before Muhsin Al Yazidi equalised for Al-Shamal two minutes later. Baghdad Bounedjah (13′) and Andre Ayew (15′) then scored in quick succession to start building a big lead for Al-Sadd, which was extended by an own goal from Matias Nani (54′) and a strike from Yusuf Abdurisag (57′). Substitute Rodrigo Tabata made it 6-1 in the 85th minute, while Khalifa Al Malki reduced the deficit in the 87th. Bounedjah then returned to score Al-Sadd’s seventh goal in the 89th minute.
