Guilherme Torres ruled out of Al-Shamal clash

The Al-Sadd first team concluded their preparations on Saturday for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 4 game against Al-Shamal, which will kick off at 7:30 PM on Sunday at the Khalifa International Stadium.

The Wolves go into the team with a perfect tally of 9 points from their opening three games, following wins over Al-Sailiya, Qatar SC and Al-Rayyan. Al-Shamal are in seventh place with 3 points.

Meanwhile, midfielder Guilherme Torres has been ruled out of the game against Al-Shamal due to injury.

Torres suffered a bruise during the game against Al-Rayyan, and will require five days of recovery before he can return to training with the first team.

Following Saturday’s final training session, head coach Xavi Hernandez named a 23-member squad for the game, which is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Jehad Muhammad, Yousuf Al-Balushi, Baghdad Bounedjah, Mustafa Tarek, Mahdi Salem, Abdulrahman Rashid, Muhammad Mannai, Jung Woo-young, Rodrigo Tabata, Faisal Azadi, Hassan Al-Haydos, Ali Asad, Tarek Salman, Ahmed Sayyar, Andre Ayew, Pedro Miguel, Akram Afif, Yusuf Abdurisag, Muhammed Waad, Musaab Khidir, Abdullah Al-Yazidi.

The session also saw the return of goalkeeper Saad Al-Dosari to training with the team after his recovery from a muscle injury.
