Al-Sadd striker Baghdad Bounedjah expressed his happiness with the important 2-1 victory over Al-Rayyan, in the Round 9 game from the QNB Stars League.
Speaking after the match, Bounedjah said: “We are happy with the victory, which is an important one in our season. The return of the national team players is a great boost for us, and they helped us a lot in winning the first match after this long break.”
The Algerian striker continued: “Confidence has increased for all players. The most important thing today is the three points, and our goal is to return and compete for the league title. Al-Sadd is capable of achieving this, and we are going step by step in order to advance in the table.”
