Al-Sadd Club announces the signing of Dutch winger Javairo Dilrosun on a contract until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Akram Afif, the star of Al Sadd, expressed his happiness with the big 4–0 victory achieved by Al Sadd against Al Shahania in Week 15 of the 2025–2026 Doha Bank Stars League.

Akram said in his post-match comments: “We achieved an important win over Al Shahania. We reached the top of the table after a lot of hard work. We managed to secure many consecutive victories, which earned us the lead deservedly.” ... 

Al Sadd continued its winning run in the 2025–2026 Doha Bank Stars League with a 4–0 victory over Al Shahania, in the match played at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Thursday, 5 February 2026.

With this win, Al Sadd moved up to 32 points. The goals were scored by Akram Afif, who netted a hat-trick, with strikes in the 14th minute from the penalty spot, and in the 50th and 83rd minutes, while Claudinho added the fourth goal in the 73rd minute. ... 

Roberto Mancini, Al Sadd’s head coach, confirmed the team’s readiness for the upcoming match against Al Shahania, as part of Week 15 of the 2025–2026 Doha Bank Stars League.

Mancini said during the press conference: “The next match will be difficult, because every match for us is difficult, as all the teams that play against Al Sadd play with great strength.” ... 

Al Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham expressed his happiness with the important 3–1 victory achieved by the team against Al Gharafa in Week 14 of the Doha Bank Stars League.

Al Sadd claimed a 3–1 victory over Al Gharafa at the conclusion of Week 14 of the 2025–2026 Doha Bank Stars League season. The match was played at Thani bin Jassim Stadium on Saturday, 31 January 2026.

With this win, Al Sadd moved up to 29 points. The goals for Al Sadd were scored by Roberto Firmino in the 47th minute, Geovane Henrique in the 55th minute, and Akram Afif in the fifth minute of stoppage time (90+5′). Al Gharafa’s only goal was scored by Ayoub Al Aloui in the 65th minute. ...

Al Sadd announces that first-team player, Algerian defender Youcef Atal, has suffered a rupture in the Achilles tendon of his right foot.

The player will undergo surgery in the coming days, and the length of his recovery will depend on the progress of his condition.

Al-Sadd coach Roberto Mancini expressed his happiness over winning the Qatari–UAE Super Shield following the 3-2 victory over Shabab Al Ahli.
